treasure. This 2 bed room 2.5 bathroom home has so much to offer. A
boardwalk links you directly to the ocean. With the Gulf of Mexico to
the west and St. Joseph’s Bay to the east you can enjoy spectacular
sunsets and sunrises. The master bed room has a king-size bed with an 
outside deck and chairs. At night you can hear the ocean waves while 
sitting on your deck and gazing at the stars. A spacious loft that 
kids describe as “awesome” becomes their own secret and special 
space. The loft has 3 single beds and a sitting area with TV/VCR/DVD 
and board games. The second bed room suite has a queen-size bed with 
its own deck and chairs. In addition, the house has a queen sleeper 
sofa, 4 TV’s, DVD,VCR, fireplace, grill and much more. Since we love 
dogs and dogs love the beach, we invite you to bring Fido along to 
complete the family.  There are 2 Pools, 2 Tennis Courts and a 
Playground only a few steps away.

Barrier Dunes is located on Cape San Blas (St. Joseph Peninsula) 
right next to St. Joseph State Park. The 2000 acre park is over 
2,000 acres big and has hiking and bike trails. St. Joseph Peninsula was 
rated the #1 Beach in the US in 2002. Charters boats taking you deep 
sea fishing, guided eco-sightseeing, instructions in kayaking and 
canoing can keep you rather busy. A sunset cruise is a wonderful 
way to relax. You can catch fish at the lighthouse or go snorkeling or 
crabbing. July and August is scallop season! There is horseback 
riding available and there is a new 4 mile long bicycle path along 
the Cape Road. After all this wonderful outdoor activity it is time 
to think about dinner. The area has numerous fine restaurants. 
Stretching from Mexico Beach with Toucans ('Shrimp are all you can 
eat') every Thursday, to Sunset Grill, Peppers and Dockside Café in 
Port St. Joe. Heading toward Apalachicola there is the not to be 
missed Indian Pass Raw Bar, soon to reopen with a new coat of paint. 
In Apalachicola the Gibson Inn is a standout, with Papa Joe’s and 
Bosses for seafood lovers and Tamara’s with Tapa’s Wednesday night a 
special treat.
