Cedar Key - the town that Florida forgot. Florida without the mouse or
plastic. If you are looking for quiet, nature, and relaxation, this is
old Florida and your ideal vacation.

We have a nearly 270 degree view of salt marsh, bayou, and Gulf of
Mexico. Water front condo on the island of Cedar Key Florida - Gulf
Coast. 3rd floor (top floor!) corner unit with private balcony,
gourmet kitchen, king and queen bedrooms, 2 baths. Private, quiet,
small condo complex. Resort "feel".

Cedar Key is a sleepy fishing village reminiscent of New England
fishing towns. The town has about 750 residents and is very quiet and
quaint.  

Our condo is named "Tranquility" because it was our goal to provide a
peaceful escape from a busy world, but to still provide the amenities
to have a wonderful vacation. A blending of contemporary organic
themes and traditional Japanese design elements lends just the right
touch of "Zen" to the space without being intrusive.

Bird watching and canoeing is our favorite. Fishing is excellent
(redfish, sea trout, grouper in deep ocean), several good seafood
restaurants and shops within walking distance. Bring/rent a bicycle or
golf cart or walk to town. (3 blocks)

If you're looking for sugar sand beaches, Cedar Key isn't your 
choice, but if you are looking for privacy, nature, and gorgeous
views, Tranquility is a piece of heaven on earth.

2008 Rates

      $900/week (A week is normally required from Feb. 1 - April 30)
      $160/night (2 night minimum out of season)
      $3,000/month (Jan, Feb, August, Sept., December only)

Pet Fee: $10/pet/visit (if pet is approved by owner)

In-season months (February through April) require a minimum of a
week's stay. Longer stays are possible, please inquire. 

Holiday and festival weekends require a minimum of 4 nights and
will not be reserved more than 4 weeks in advance unless you reserve
**at least a week's stay**. Please check our calendar for

Florida tax is NOT included.
No additional cleaning fees. No additional utility fees.
