This home is designed for maximum comfort and fun.  Both first floor 
bedrooms have a ceramic bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, queen size bed 
and television with VCR/DVD.  The living room also has a queen size 
sleeper sofa and television with VCR/DVD.  There is easy 
access to the half bath off of the kitchen. The house is adjacent to 
the island bicycle/walking path. Wash off the day's sand with the 
exterior shower.  The private fenced-in back yard includes a grill 
and lawn chairs on a sodded area where children can play safely.  
The kitchen is a cook's delight, with a view of the bay.  Enjoy a 
meal of fresh seafood on the screened porch with a view of the Gulf.

Beautiful St. George Island is a natural playground located about 60 
miles east of Panama City, offering plenty of fun-in-the-sun 
activities, including swimming, boating, water sports, fishing, and 
biking. St. George Island State Park is at the eastern end of the 
island. It offers a peaceful retreat for wildlife viewing, hiking, 
or sunbathing.  
Be sure to visit the restored lighthouse just 2 blocks from Bird's Nest!
The island and nearby Apalachicola offer excellent  
fresh seafood, including world famous oysters. 
Bird's Nest is on the center of the island and is within walking distance to 
restaurants and assorted shops.

Oyster Spat Festival is on the center of the island is the first weekend of October
Florida Seafood Festival in Apalachicola is the first weekend of November.
The Chili Cook-Off - benefitting the volunteer fire dept. - is the
