Friendship House is located on the peaceful Steinhatchee River in 
the unique town of Steinhatchee, Florida. The house has been 
beautifully renewed with a relaxing nautical flair. The warmth and 
comfort enbrace you upon arrival. The house has two bedrooms and two 
full baths. A sunroom extends along the front, river side of the 
house with a solid row of windows to have an open view of the river. 
A laundry room and covered carport make this house complete. 

This house comes completely furnished, including bed linens and 
towels. Cable T.V.and telephone. We have good cell phone reception 
with the addition of 
new towers. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with all 
necessary items such as paper towels, toliet tissue and soaps. 
Washer, dryer and laundry detergent are located in the separate 
laundry room. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and adjoining 
full master bathroom. The second bedroom has one set of bunk beds 
plus one twin bed. A secound full bath in the hallway. The 
living room has a pull out queen sized bed. Both 
bedrooms have plenty of storage and closet 
space.

Experience the river by boat, kayak or canoe and tie up at our brand 
new dock. Yes, you can leave the Friendship House from our own 
private dock and return after a fun filled day of either fishing, 
scalloping or exploring. We are in a deep section of the river, with 
a minimum depth of 5 feet at LOW tide. Head west a couple miles to 
the Gulf of Mexico or head east and explore the unspoiled and 
natural tributaries of this jungle paradise. Come during our popular 
scallop season or hunting season. Or, just come. A trip down the 
Steinhatchee river, along the shoreline of this unique and quiet 
town is a joy any time of the year.
