fishing or canoeing/kayaking. no allaigators ever. There is  no inside smoking and please inquire 
about pets. 

Enter cottage from a plant filled entrance patio with table and chairs...into peaceful screened 
porch with couch and pillows for reading and relaxing on breezy mornings with coffee or tea or lazy 
afternoon napping.., plus table to snack at.(see pics) 

Inside is a Great room with hardwood floors, open cypress beamed ceiling ( kitchen, dining for 6, 
living room combined..large 20 x 14 with a bay window looking out to the lawn with oak trees...the 
kitchen window opens to the screen porch breezes. 

Another living area behind the great room has french doors opening to the deck, is carpeted, has two 
couches, one futon innerspring matteress double bed sized couch to fold down..Very comfy.. and 
another couch very comfortable for a teen or child. This room has TV with Direct TV,plus vcr/dvd 
combo and two video rental outlets within a 5 min drive from the cottage.

Bedroom one has a queen sized bed, very comfortable Beauty Rest mattress..with window opening to 
lake breezes, AC, Tv/Direct Tv hookup also with vcr/dvd combo. A very quiet restful room.

Bedroom two has two twin beds a desk, night stands, 3 windows,  and tv with dvd/vcr hook up. 

The loft bedroom is reached by climbing a ladder and has a queen sized bed with two windows on lake 
side. Tv with dvd also.

Deck has stairs that go to down to a large lawn area and to the lake. Deck has a couch , a reclining 
chaise, and two other chairs..also there is a table with umbrella and chairs for dining. (see pic)

Lakefront has chairs/tables and chaise lounges for sunbathing & relaxing. There are 3 large lawn 
areas on the 7/8 of an acre property for relaxing. A  circular driveway..filled with larg oaks, 
shrubs and bamboo border very private entrance.. can't see cottage from the road. This cottage is 4 
rooms downstairs and one loft bedroom. A very private romantic getaway..very comfortable.
 

5 min away: Market,  2 Video Rental outlets,CVS Drugstore, Pizza, Dentist, MD, Library

Kitchen  is completely equipped, gas stainless stove/oven, coffee pot, pots/pans/dishes etc, plus 
blender,toaster, convection oven/toaster combo, citrus juicer, waffle iron, foreman grill & 
microwave.There is a double stainless steel sink, no dishwasher.

Board games, slip and slide, gas grill

Bedrooms have all linens supplied,including blankets, sheets,pillows and throws. Two rocking chairs,
3 couches in cottage. Lake breezes keep cottage cool and comfortable..AC there when needed.
Noodles and floats for the lake are at the 80 foot beach/lakefront to use.

Laundry area with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.
Bathroom  has shower, tub, hair dryer, towels, washcloths, beach towels.
Lake has Coleman inflatable kayak...fun use at your own risk.
 
20 min to Gainesville: Shands Hosp., Ronald McDonald House, Performing Arts Center,all stores and 
mall..restaurants, music.

45 minute drive to Itchatuknee springs where you can rent a tube or float and float down the river 
for an hour or more...take a tram to the beginning and do it again...a delight on summer days. 
1 hour from Jacksonville, 1 1/2 hours from Jacksonville Airport and Jacksonville Zoo. 
1 mile from the cottage is a a 17 mile  hiking, biking nature trail..called the Gainesville 
Hawthorne trail.
In Gainesville (20 minutes away) are University of Florida Sports functions...the Performing Arts 
Center, the Harn Museum and two multiplex movie complexes. There are lots of good restaurants,and 
music clubs in Gainesville as well as Golf courses, tennis, swimming...walking & nature trails 
thread throughout Gainesville.. and surrounding the Hawthorne area are many many lakes..many with 
public boat ramps ..for large and small craft.
