"Hatteras South" 55 Sand Dollar Lane Englewood, Florida - Our rental 
is a two bedroom/two bath duplex home available on the quiet beaches 
of Manasota Key. We have been very fortunate to have been spared any 
destruction from hurricanes. With a minimum two night stay, our 
privately-owned and managed rental unit is located only 60 feet away 
from a private beach. Location ! Location ! Location !  only steps 
from the beach.  The ground-floor duplex has no streets to cross to 
reach the beach. Our home has over 1800 square feet with central heat 
and air.                                                    
      Ours is the largest duplex on south Manasota Key. 

Manasota Key has unsurpassed boating, shelling, swimming, and 
fishing with sunsets that are breathtaking. We are a small, quiet, 
beach community catering to the retired and families who are 
looking for a quiet get-away. A boat slip is available a short 
distance from the property- for a nominal fee, prior arrangements 
being necessary. A nearby public boat ramp provides access to the 
waterway with unequalled boating and fishing on Lemon Bay or the 
Gulf of Mexico.

 "Hatteras South" offers accommodations as small as an 
EFFICIENCY, comfortable for 1-2 people with limited cooking in a 
kitchenette. The 1 BEDROOM/1 BATH and 2 BEDROOM/2 BATH provide a 
spacious area and full size kitchen, living room and screened porch. 
Bedrooms have king and double beds, and a king-size sleeper in the 
living room - able to sleep 6 guests. All 3 units have complete 
sets of dishes & linens provided, central heat and air conditioning, 
ceiling fans, cable TV, VCR, stereo & CD/DVD players, phone (upon 
request). The all-electric kitchen comes fully-equipped with full 
size appliances - refrigerator and stove. microwave, coffee maker, 
toaster, mixer, blender, complete cooking utensils and dishes are 
provided. Everything you will need for the kitchen. Table and bar 
will comfortably seat six people.  We provide beach towels, sand 
toys, beach umbrellas and chairs to make your days at the beach even 
more enjoyable.  

Available to all 3 units are: a washer & dryer, covered parking, 
picnic and patio furniture, gas & charcoal 
grills.                            

No PETS.
Smoking restricted to outside or on the screened porch.

 

Activities on site or nearby: 
A wildlife sanctuary is only 1/4 mile away with 3 miles of 
protected, secluded beaches at the southern tip of the Key.  Enjoy 
the 2 hour private walk along the coast to the southern most tip of 
Manasota Key to Stump Pass. This is a great excursion for nature-
lovers. 

Our private beach has swimming, fishing, shelling & sharks 
teeth hunting, turtle-watching and nesting, snorkeling, boating, 
sailing, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, shuffleboard, jet-skiing and 
rentals, miniature golf, cinemas, water-skiing, windsurfing. 

Nearby are Busch Gardens, Tampa Aquarium, Sea World, Epcot and 
Disney - Orlando, Sarasota and Tampa attractions and local airports 
from 1 1/2 to 3 hours away.

Gift/tourist shop and convenience store and several restaurants are 
only 2 blocks away - All provide those little things you might run 
out of but don't care to leave Manasota Key for and within walking 
distance is a Tiki Bar restaurant with live music located on Lemon 
Bay, a bar with live bands on the weekends, Italian restaurant (with 
terrific take-out menus) and a seafood restaurant.  

Golf courses are some of the best in Florida and located only a few 
miles away.

2 Bedroom/2 Baths:(up to 6 persons) Starts at $125 night or $750 week
Minimum Stay: Two nights off season.
