If you're looking for a little excitement, Busch Gardens is 50 
minutes away, and Disney World is two hours away. And the Weeki 
Wachee Mermaid Show and Buccaneer Bay Water Park (which runs off a 
natural spring) are just 20 minutes away. 

There are lots of nearby restaurants (including waterfront dining) 
that serve the catch-of-the-day and other local favorites. Our 
favorite restaurant is the one with the view of Monkey Island (yes, 
there really are monkeys there!).
