Sarasota and Lido Key are among the most desirable family vacation
destinations in Florida. Our home is located in the quiet and
upscale neighborhood of Lido Shores on north Lido Key. We are just
1/2 mile (a scenic walk) to historic St. Armand's Circle, hub of
attractive shops and a variety of restaurants. Lido Key is nestled
between Longboat Key and St. Armand's Circle, with water on all sides
and just 3 miles from lively downtown Sarasota across the scenic John
Ringling Bridge.

On Lido Key you will not suffer the traffic delays and long travel
times to Sarasota as from Longboat Key or Siesta Key and you can walk
or bike to many prime beach and shopping destinations at St. Armands
Circle. There are no drawbridges and only one stoplight between our
home and Sarasota's Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41).

remote area of north Lido Beach, no traffic and no crowds, and enjoy
the view of south Longboat Key.

welcomes you when you rent our lovely home. There will be no surprises
as to where we are or how our home is furnished. We will email you a
flyer with photos, suggested restaurants and MUST SEE activities. We
will include links to things of interest in Sarasota and beach areas.
It is our goal to exceed your expectations when you arrive, no surprises.

We provide 4 adult and 1 child bikes and a trike for the little one.
Plan to explore the local area for views, shopping, dining, and
exercise. Great place for seeing the sights without driving.

Free high speed, wireless internet, free local and domestic (within
the United States) long distance calls, air conditioning, heated,
screened pool, 3 cable TV's, stereo, CD/DVD Player, full kitchen, GE
Advantium convection microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cooking
utensils provided, linens provided, washer, dryer, large gas BBQ
grill, garage + carport, beach chairs, pack & play crib, adult and
child bicycles.

In a brisk 20 minute walk, you can trek our beach on North Lido
all the way to South Lido Beach, past the public pool and bath house
to the Lido Beach Resort or the Ritz Carlton, kick back and have your
favorite beverage at their Tiki bar, enjoy Florida's best sunset and
then mosey back home to north Lido. That's the good life. 

If you MUST conduct business on your vacation, bring your laptop and
connect to our wireless network. We also have a fax and HP color
inkjet printer you may use. Sit by the pool, update your portfolio,
download your banking transactions, check your email.

Surrounded by water, we have many activities for families with
children of all ages. 

- Large public park on South Lido Key with beach, wildlife and
beautiful views of Siesta Key, Sarasota and the Gulf.
-The Mote Marine Aquarium & mammal rehabilitation center, nature
parks, marinas, and fishing are steps away. 
-Ben Thompson Public Park and Marina, one-half mile, easy walk or bike
ride,
sunset watching, sailboat charters,

-Fishing in surf, from surf, piers or bank or charter, boats, wildlife
(dolphin, manatee, pelicans, egrets, cranes) viewing. 
-Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Museums, boating and boat

 Jet Skiing, Shelling.

We are booked through April 15, 2008 but have openings after.
