We are Nancy and George from Connecticut.  We have had wonderful vacations here in this, 
our only vacation home, in Bradenton, on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast.  We accidently discovered 
Shorewalk several years ago as we stayed there while our daughter attended the Bollettieri 
Tennis Academy, just down the road.  

The Shorewalk complex is 30 acres of 2 story buildings with mostly 2 bedroom condos, six lakes, 
2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, basket ball and bocce courts and a playground. The area is
surrounded by many golf courses; it's a 10 minute drive to beautiful beaches; a short walk to the
supermarket, pharmacy, stores, restaurants and movie theatres.  

The Shorewalk Clubhouse has BBQ grills, snack bar, library, ping pong, billiard/pool, video 
games and social activities.  The resort has a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and very friendly
people from all over the world.

General:  Recently renovated with air-conditioning, central heating, linens/towels provided,
telephone, cable TV, clothes washer/dryer, sleeps 6

Kitchen:  oven, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots and pans and new fridge/freezer

Living Room:  all new furniture including queen size pull out couch, new TV/DVD/VCR

Dining Room:  seating for 6 people

Bedrooms:  ***Brand new Master suite with king bed, walk in closet and bathroom; TV and radio/CD player.
                   Guest room with 2 twin beds.  Brand new carpeting in both rooms.

Baths:  1 across from guest bedroom 
            1 in master bedroom suite

Outside:  screened in Lanai with furniture, parking near front door, 2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, 
shuffleboard, basketball and bocce courts; fishing on site.


                

- Beautiful beaches just a few miles down the road in the Florida Keys(Long Boat Key with its chic St. Armand 
Circle, Siesta Key, etc.)

-IMG Academies which includes the famous Bollettieri Tennis Academy, as well as golf, baseball, basketball and  
soccer training.  Maria Sharapova, Agassi, Tommy Hass trained there with many more.

-Deep sea fishing, museums (Ringling, Dali, etc.), Botanical gardens, aquarium, miniature golf, jungle garden and 
major league baseball and football; Disney World within a 2 hour drive.

-Unique to Shorewalk: a short walk to restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, cinemas, shopping, bowling alley, 
yet far enough away not to disrupt the privacy of our resort.
