April Festival is Coming:
41st Annual Old Florida Celebration of the Arts
April 21-22, 2007 
  
10:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. Booths of fine arts and crafts line 
both sides of Cedar Key's main street while the local school, civic 
and church groups prepare and serve seafood and other goodies in the 
City Park. Musical entertainment too. This is a juried show and 
prizes will be awarded. For more information please call and we can 
direct you to a website. ( THE FESITVAL IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!)

20th Annual Small Boat Meet
May 5-6, 2007 
  
Meet at City Park at 9:00 AM each day. This informal and 
unsanctioned meet is open to all small sail and paddle boats 
including but not limited to sharpies, multi-hulls, canoes and 
kayaks. A weekend of fun on the water, it brings meaning to the 
expression “messing around in boats”. Open to anyone, with no fees

4th Annual Clamerica Celebration
Wednesday, July 4, 2007 
  
City Park from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Exhibits, demonstrations, 
games, contests and clamsand other food for the whole family. Clam 
bag races, clam hunts, cultured clam cook-off and live music in our 
waterfront park. Weather permitting, fireworks are scheduled for 
that evening at dusk ( WHICH IS ONE OF THE BEST FIREWORKS DISPLAYS 
WE HAVE EVER SEEN!) NO NEED FOR A CAR TO DRIVE TO SEE THEM JUST WALK 
ACROSS THE STREET OR WATCH THEM FROM YOUR PRIVATE BALCONY. YOU WILL 
LOVE SPENDING YOUR 4TH OF JULY HERE!!

38th Annual Seafood Festival
October 20-21, 2007 
  
9:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. This major event features well over 
200 arts and crafts exhibits, and great local seafood food in City 
Park. There will be live musical entertainment at several places 
around town during the days and nights, and a parade on Saturday 
morning.( WATCH THE PARADE FROM YOUR DOORSTEP OR BALCONY. THIS IS A 
PERFECT SPOT TO STAY DURING THIS EVENT! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!)

In addition on this weekend, there is an open house at the 
lighthouse on Seahorse Key, the big island 3 miles to the west of 
Cedar Key. Explore the light, look at the exhibits and wander this 
beautiful island. Shuttle boats are available at City Marina. Be 
sure to remember your camera and binoculars!

4th Annual Nature Coast Birding and Wildlife Experience
October 26-29, 2007 
  
Field trips, lectures and exhibits spotlighting Cedar Key's 
diversity of birds, beasts and habitats.

Each 1 bedroom cottage has its own FULL Kitchen, washer & dryer, 
full bath, living room, dining, porch...etc...Can sleep 2 in the 
bedroom and 2 on fold out sleeper.  Next 1 bedroom cottage is 
located directly up the stairs, which is a mirror image of 
perfection.
