Little Gasparilla Island is a private barrier island located just 
off of the West Coast of Florida.  All docks and land are privately 
owned, allowing visitors an exclusivity and privacy lacking in more 
traditional waterfront rentals.  The island is part of a chain of 
barrier islands which include Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva, Pine 
Island, Cabbage Key, Useppa, Cayo Costa, Gasparilla (Boca Grande), 
and other smaller mangrove isles that dot the bay waters.  The 
island 
is located 40 miles south of Sarasota and about 40 miles northwest 
of 
Fort Myers. 
  Little Gasparilla is a bridgeless barrier island and is accessible 
only by private boat, ferry or water-taxi.  The water-taxi is just a 
10 minute boat ride from Placida, Florida. No cars.

 Tarpon Pier features three bedrooms, three baths, eat-in kitchen, 
and spacious living room with central air conditioning.  The home 
sleeps eight comfortably.  The house is situated on the bay side of 
the island, with two private docks, but the property line reaches 
the 
entire width of the island to your very own pristine private beach. 

 Tarpon Pier includes two master bedrooms upstairs, with queen-size 
beds, private baths and direct access to a huge front balcony with a 
spectacular full view of the intracoastal waterway. Plus a 
downstairs 
bedroom with two full-size beds and ceiling fans throughout.  
 The living room features a 27'' color TV, stereo with CD and plenty 
of seating.  More importantly, the room features sliding-glass doors 
which lead out to a large screened patio with a wrap-around balcony.
 Since the house is situated on stilts, at ground-level, it also 
includes a Kayak, gas grill, charcoal grill, and shower.
