Birdsong Villa - Owners: Art and Linda McClintock 

The exterior of "Birdsong" was designed to resemble the original 
Floridian old style of architecture, with replica wooden panelling, 
raised front porch/veranda, railings and small pane windows. The 
front porch features white wicker chairs - loveseat and table - 
rocking chair, and is the perfect place to breakfast in the early 
morning sunshine.

The rear looks out onto a small lake, & is totally private, secluded 
and bathed in sunshine all day. The pool and hot tub catch this 
sunshine - keeping the water warm, but both can be electrically 
heated if necessary in the cooler winter months. The pool deck comes 
equipped with loungers, tables and chairs for sun bathing, chilling 
out & relaxation! 

The surrounding area is very quiet, with no through traffic. The 
unique landscaped gardens are tropical in style. At the rear, as 
well as the lake, just a stones throw away (but hidden from the 
villa) is the Pinemoor Golf Course - one of many in the area. This 
secluded aspect encourages wildlife, and we have been treated to 
frequent visits from a variety of vividly colored birds(hence our 
villas name "Birdsong")! We have also had enjoyed seeing foxes, 
rabbits, squirrels, armadillos, & raccoons. In fact, this area is a 
protected wildlife sanctuary.

After years of searching, we feel we have at last found our 
paradise - relaxing with a glass of wine, by the lakeside, or in the 
spa at sunset - with just the night chorus for company.

The elevated rear lanai (patio) - complete with railings, ceiling 
fan, table, lounger and chairs - is always in shade, providing 
relief in mid summer, when it may become too hot during the day. At 
sunset, this is an ideal place for the cocktail hour and the evening 
meal.

The interior is furnished to a very high standard. The living area 
is spacious with high cathedral ceilings, and Nafco Lorraine oak 
flooring. Sliding doors take you onto the lanai and to the pool. The 
large curved corner sofa, complete with welcome leg rests, is the 
perfect place to relax at the end of a long, arduous day, and flick 
through the 120 + channels on the large 34" satellite TV (with Tivo)-
 or just listen to the stereo or radio. There is also a well stocked 
bookcase to suit a variety of tastes.The luxury kitchen is fully 
equipped, and has a breakfast bar. The dining nook comes complete 
with a large oval table and six chairs - perfect for dinner indoors, 
and overlooks the secluded landscaped rear.

The master bedroom is fully carpeted and features a queen size bed 
and 32" satellite TV. A large bay window with window seating 
overlooks the private rear garden. This bedroom features an en-suite 
bathroom - complete with a large 6' oval marble bath - walk in 
shower, and separate "his" & "hers" marble vanity sink units. 
Of the two additional bedrooms, one features a large queen size bed 
and satellite TV. The other, overlooking the front veranda, has two 
single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Shops, supermarkets, and restaurants are ten minutes drive away, and 
serious shopping at Port Charlotte is just 20 minutes away. There 
are several superb golf courses just at your door, and the most 
beautiful beaches that Southwest Florida has to offer are just ten 
minutes away! You can rent a boat for the day and visit one of the 
small semi-tropical islands that abound this paradise. 

The breathtaking millionaires' Gasparella Island, with its talcum 
powder white beaches, and quaint village of Boca Grande, is just 15 
minutes from the door.

Phone (free local calls); an Internet dial up connection (with easy 
set-up instructions) is available to check your email, but you will 
require your own laptop/notebook computer; full air conditioning in 
each room; satellite TV with 120+ channels & Tivo(to record 
programs); stereo VCR & DVD recorder; stereo HI-FI; 
satellite TV also in master bedroom & bedroom No.2.
