You don’t have to leave the grounds go on vacation at Vivante! The
25,000 ft. clubhouse has a billiard room, a club room bar, an arts &
crafts room, a media room with a lounge and high-def TV as well as a
lounge library. And that’s just the inside activities. Outdoors one
will find two great pools (one a professional lap pool), an outdoor
grilling area, fresh air fire pit gazebo and more. Social and
recreational events are offered weekly in all clubhouse areas.

Off the property, Punta Gorda is a small and casual town with a
friendly atmosphere and Southern charm. Located on the mouth of the
Peace River where it empties into Charlotte Harbor, the town boasts
plenty of waterfront, a riverfront beach area, and a beautifully
renovated downtown with cobblestone streets and gaslights, shops and
restaurants. Off the beaten path just south is a wilderness adventure
ranch where one can experience Florida’s unique ecosystems on a swamp
buggy excursion or bike tour. Fishermen and boaters will find
limitless opportunities in Punta Gorda and surrounding areas while the
avid golfer will find a number of Florida’s most beautiful courses
only minutes away.

Punta Gorda is a short drive from Naples, Fort Myers and Sarasota, 2.5
hours to Miami, 1.5 hours to Tampa and Busch Gardens, and 2.5 hours to
Orlando and Disney. The white sand beaches of Captiva and Sanibel are
less than an hour’s drive south while also nearby are top beach areas
in Boca Grande and Siesta Key.
