Fort Lauderdale Weather & Climate

Southeast Florida in the region between Miami and Palm Beach, is blessed with a semi-tropical climate, over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and balmy ocean breezes year-round. The rainy season runs from May through October, with South Florida receiving 70 percent of its annual rainfall during these months. Florida, as a whole, has more thunderstorms than any other state, and their frequency usually peak in July or August.
