Mount Dora is only 25 miles from Orlando, but you feel as if you are a world away. Conveniently located in central Florida, you drive through fields and farmland to reach Mount Dora. This tiny, lakeside town has beautiful scenery, and is unlike most people’s idea of Florida. The countryside is hilly and densely covered with leafy green trees.
