The Lower Keys are the most “untouched” by population growth and human “progress.” However, as with all of the Lower Keys, you will find a wide variety of water sports on Sugarloaf Key. Choose to spend your time fishing, boating, diving and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking or canoeing. The main attraction on Sugarloaf Key is the lush surroundings, crystal blue water, white sand beaches, unique wildlife and a variety of colorful, tropical plants and flowers such as bougainvillea, hibiscus, orchid and frangipani. Tropical delights such as Key limes, mangos, avocados, papayas and starfruit are grown here. There are parks and wildlife preserves nearby, and land based activities such as hiking, biking, sunning and shelling are available. Key West is just 15 minutes away for shopping, dining, sightseeing and nightlife. Sugarloaf Key is the ultimate place to relax and unwind in the sun-drenched tropical Florida Keys. |
