Tequesta
is a small town located in Palm County between Jupiter and Hobe Sound on the south Atlantic Coast of Florida. The town of Tequesta offers a wide mixture of family residential neighborhoods, condominiums and upscale waterfront homes. The Jupiter /Tequesta /Juno Beach area offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the year round mild weather and outdoor recreation. Plus, the town of Tequesta is just 17 miles from the nightlife at West Palm Beach, Florida.
Southeast Florida, along the Atlantic Coast, enjoys balmy ocean breezes year-round. The rainy season runs from May through October, with South Florida receiving 70 percent of its annual rainfall during these months. Humidity can become uncomfortable during this time. Thunderstorms are frequent and usually peak in July or August, however these storms pass quickly and the sunshine quickly returns, so most outdoor plans are not ruined. Late summer is the hurricane season, but forecasters give ample warning time whenever one of these storms approach the mainland. Winters in southeast Florida are very comfortable, with lower humidity, lots of sunshine and mild evenings.
